Luxurious safari lodge in the African wilderness

The Sabi Sands Game Reserve is located in the private wilderness area of Ulusaba, South Africa. The lodge belongs to the “Virgin Limited Edition” of Sir Richard Branson and it does not leave any wishes unfulfilled with its luxury and design. Ulusaba has two lodges: “Safari” and “Rock”. Both lodges are unique in its architecture and location.

The “Safari Lodge” was built in the style of a tree house. The rooms and the main building are connected via suspension bridge. The luxurious interior decoration includes many modern African style elements. On a hill is the “Rock Lodge” with a spectacular panorama view of the savannah. Furnishings stand out due to its African elements. All rooms (11 Safari Lodges and 10 Rock Lodges) have a bathroom, separate shower, phone, air-conditioning and porch.

Both lodges “Safari” and “Rock” have a restaurant that features modern African furnishings, a bar with viewing deck and lounge. When there is nice weather, guests can have a “Bush Dinner” under the sky. Both lodges have an “Aroma Boma”, a small but fine wellness area with numerous treatments as well as a swimming pool. The game drives are undertaken in a convertible all-terrain vehicle. In addition, outback hikes, night sky observations as well as excursions via a helicopter to the nearby Draken Mountains.
