Beautiful Scandinavian interiors on Gotland Island

This gorgeous home was photographed by Swedish photographer Stellan Herner as an editorial shoot for Elle Interiör. His work appears regularly for Elle Interiör, Ikea and Grant Home as a versatile photographer, but with easily recognizable sense of style and light. In this home, he has captured the relaxed, personal style of this humble Scandinavian abode. Located on the island of Gotland, east of the Swedish mainland, this beautiful limestone house is very typical for the island. The use of moody grays throughout is very inspiring, but also the different use of various natural materials. The overall atmosphere is basic and calm. The outdoor gardens and lounge areas are relaxing and peaceful, who would not want to spend some time outdoors in the shade of the front porch on a hammock?
